Rescheduling and cancellation charges
- At least 48 hours’ notice: the lesson may be rescheduled without charge, subject to availability.
- Between 24 and 48 hours’ notice: 50% of the lesson fee is payable.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: the full lesson fee is payable.
Genuine emergencies and exceptional circumstances may be considered at Juliet’s discretion.
Missed or late lessons
If a learner does not attend, the lesson will normally be charged in full. If a learner arrives late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled time. Additional time cannot always be added because another lesson may follow.
Cancellation by Horsfall Education
If Horsfall Education needs to cancel, an alternative time will be offered. If this is not possible, any payment already made for that lesson will be credited or refunded.
Online lessons
If a lesson cannot proceed because of a technical problem on the learner’s side, it may be treated as a missed lesson. If the problem is on the tutor’s side, the lesson will be rearranged or credited.
School holidays
Holiday arrangements and any planned breaks will be discussed in advance. Regular lesson times are not automatically guaranteed during school holidays unless agreed.
Ending regular tuition
Please provide reasonable written notice if you wish to end regular tuition. Lessons already delivered, or falling within the cancellation periods above, remain payable.
